Gus Gzamouranis, 89, born in Aetos, Messinias, Greece. Beloved husband of Madeleine "Maria" (nee Thanoukos). Devoted father of Angeline (Dale) Saari, Stella (Spyros) Kapsalis, and John (Tracey); cherished grandfather of Garifalia "Litsa", Madeline, Madeleine, Konstantine Robert, Olivia, Konstantine Spyros, Konstantine Alexander, and Emelia. Loving son of the late Ioannis and Aggeliki; dearest brother of Ilias (Amalia), and the late Panagiotis (the late Nikoletta). Dear brother-in-law of Ifigenia (the late Giorgos) Alevizos and the late Katerina (the late Ioannis) Kaskampas; fond uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend of many. Gus was a businessman loved by all. He owned and operated LeSabre Grill and Oakwood 83 restaurants, among others, for over 60 years. Visitation 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday June 13, 2024 at Colonial Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL. On Friday, June 14, 2024, relatives and friends will meet for visitation at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago, IL 60614 and for funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Irving Park Cemetery.
