Rachel Wiggins Obituary

Richard Anthony Wiggins, aka Rachel Wiggins, passed away on April 20th, 2024. He will be missed by family and friends. 


 Richard was an excellent bass guitarist and musician who played with many bands over the years. He was also a railroad enthusiast who was a member of The Indiana Transportation Museum, where he was a conductor actor for many trips on the famous steam engine "The 587" Nicelplate Train. He loved gardening, working with his hands and planting trees. 


He worked on the railroad as a landscaper for about 35 years and also as a Security Guard for the last 15 years, most recently at Halifax Harbor in Daytona Beach, Florida.


Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, he moved to Florida with his former wife, Angela Wiggins and his son, Joshua Wiggins. 


He is survived by his son, Joshua Wiggins of Ormond Beach, FL. and his daughter, Katina Kirk of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also 9 grandchildren, Lastat, 13 and Silas, 5 (grandchildren of Joshua and Sarah Wiggins), and Micah, 21, Makiah,19, Aviahn, 16, Ariahn, 15, Chris, 10 and Evelyn, 5 (children of Katina and Chris) and his sister, Shelly, 72.
