Thomas J. Davis, 74, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed way on June 7, 2024 at MercyOne Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 23, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Middle Park Lagoon, 2098 Parkway Drive, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Thomas was born on November 28, 1949 in Davenport, Iowa, son of Richard and Jeanne (Early) Davis. He received his BA degree from the University of Iowa. He was united in marriage to Renee Wohlwend on May 20, 1976 in Maquoketa, Iowa. Thomas worked as a cost accountant at Wahl Clipper in Sterling, Illinois, then at Quebecor in Mt. Morris, Illinois, and lastly at Empire Today in Chicago, Illinois. Thomas also honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1969 - 1971 in Germany.

Tom loved his family and loved life. He enjoyed and loved the United States so when he retired in 2018 he and Renee bought a 5th wheel trailer and traveled all over the country. He wanted to see it all all. He was in Heaven then, and he is in Heaven now.

Thomas is survived by his wife Renee, children Nikki (Scott) Schletz of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Patrick (Marcie) Davis of Aurora, Illinois, and Michelle (Jeff) Keester, grandchildren Faith Davis of Los Angeles, California, Joseph Davis of Aurora, Illinois, Avi Goel of Clarendon Hills, Illinois, Mercedez, Cameron, and Krestin Keester, brothers Glynn (Pam) Davis of Park Rapids, Minnesota, Pete (Larlie) Davis of Mesquite, Texas, and Albert Davis, sisters Sue (Bob) Taylor of Sedona, Arizona, Joan (Tony) O'Leary, Iowa, and Annette (Steve) Jones, both of Davenport, Iowa, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Davis, and sister Sarah Weindruch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas's memory to the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, the Ronald McDonald House, or a charity of your choice.
