William "Bill" Wiseman Obituary

William “Bill” Wiseman went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2024. He was 68.

He was born on October 20, 1955 to parents Clarence L. and Johanna (Kermer) Wiseman in Crestline, Ohio. After Bill was graduated from high school, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Bill was a skilled welder and worked for various companies throughout his adult life.

As a man of God, Bill was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church. He served as the congregational song leader, a Sunday School teacher, and often worked with the youth ministries.

In his spare time, he took pleasure in riding Harley’s with his brother Fred, camping, and visiting the shooting range. But above all, Bill loved his dogs and the constant companionship they provided. He was a hardworking, generous, and faithful man who will be missed by so many.

He is survived by son William D. “Billy” Wiseman III, siblings Clarence W. (Doreen) Wiseman, E. Mae (Larry) Wallis, John A. (Sandy) Wiseman, and Fred A. (Vicki) Wiseman, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Johanna Wiseman.

The Wiseman family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 939 W Cook Rd., Mansfield, Ohio 44907, where a funeral service honoring Bill’s life will begin immediately at 11 a.m. Pastor John Wiseman will speak.
