Nora Spahr Obituary

Nora L. Spahr, age 89, of White Oak, died June 8, 2024, at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. Born October 21, 1934, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Miller and wife of the late George Spahr, Jr.


Nora worked for many years as a crossing guard in White Oak, ensuring the children safely made it to and from school. She was also a longtime member of Sampson Mills Church.


She is survived by a son, Russ Spahr; grandchildren, Adam, Nathan, Wesley, and Aaron Rugg along with many great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by children, David Spahr and Sue Rugg; siblings, Bill and Claire Miller.
