Sean Cournoyer 57, passed away on May 26, 2024, at home. He was born on June 4, 1966, to the late Edmund and Catherine V. (Cragin) Cournoyer in Framingham MA. Sean was a painter by trade and for the past several years worked at Panera part time, where he enjoyed the work and his co-workers. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Edmund Cournoyer Jr. Sean leaves his children, Justin Cournoyer and wife Stephanie, Dylan Cournoyer, Kayla (Cournoyer) Picone and husband Anthony, all of Tampa, FL; three brothers, William F. Cournoyer and his wife Susan of Springfield, Adelard Cournoyer and wife Sandy of Bellingham, Joseph Cournoyer and wife Joanne of Hopedale, a sister, Theresa Cournoyer of Newport VT, many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Sean was a gentle soul who loved animals, always willing to lend a helping hand caring for many family dogs. He was an avid Patriots football fan and loved fishing. Two past times he enjoyed with his brothers. Sean will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Andrew Balder & all the Staff at Healthcare for the Homeless. Sean’s family will hold a period of visitation at St. Patrick’s Church 1900 Allen St. Springfield MA 01118 on June 18, 2024, from 10:30am- 11am. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am at church.
