Ryan Christopher Astacio, aged 36, passed away peacefully at his home on June 10, 2024. Though born in Staten Island, NY, Ryan had been a resident of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge since birth. He was a graduate of Old Bridge High School and furthered his education at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.


Ryan had a passion for culinary arts, poker with friends, gaming, and always enjoyed a good comedy skit. He was renowned for his amiable and easy-going nature, being a devoted family member and friend, and for always being there for anyone in need. Ryan's talent for creating the best fried turkeys at Thanksgiving brought joy and warmth to many celebrations.


Ryan is survived by his loving mother, Arlene Astacio, father Walter Astacio, many caring aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved dog, Merlin. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.


A Funeral Mass for Ryan will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 100 N Main St, Marlboro, NJ 07746. Entombment of cremated remains will follow in St Gabriel's Cemetery, 549 Route 520 (Newman Springs Road), Marlboro, NJ 07746.
