Diane M. McCann Obituary

LODI - Diane M. McCann, age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 1, 1953, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of William and Agnes (Wruck)
Marsh. Diane married Charles “Chuck” Humboldt on August 11, 1971, in Forest, WI. They moved to Lodi in 1979 when Chuck was named Chief of Police for the city of Lodi. He preceded her in death in 2003. On July 7, 2012, Diane married Daniel McCann, Sr., at Devils Lake State Park.

Diane started her career in banking as a teller at the State Bank of Lodi in the 80's where she worked for many years. She spent 16 years at M & I Bank as a financial advisor. As she became a master in her field, she moved on to help train Financial Advisors in their industry with BMO and Associated Bank.  Most recently, she was with Park Capital Management working in Operations and helping to grow the company. A very important part of her career were the relationships formed with all of her colleagues, especially, her deep bond with Clint and Joel.

Diane had a variety of interests, but the ones she enjoyed most were the ones spent with her family and friends. Whether it was taking a train ride (her most recent adventure with her beloved husband), travelling to Texas to spend time with her daughter, cheering on her grandchildren at a soccer game or dance recital, visiting with friends on her porch in Lodi or her deck in Hayward, baking homemade bread or dancing the night away with Dan, she cherished them all. Diane's life revolved around her family and her grandchildren, who were the little lights of her life. Her will to live, so she could continue to be with them, was a true testament of her devotion and love for those she held closest to her. She lived and loved, abundantly.

In addition to her husband, Dan, survivors include her daughter, Katherine (Kevin Burkhart)
Humboldt; her son, Jason (Laurie) Humboldt; stepdaughter, Shannon (William) Walowski; two
sisters, Janette Marie Marsh, and Wendy Marsh; two grandchildren, Brycen and Teagan
Walowski;

In addition to her first husband Charles, she was preceded in death by her parents; and
stepson, Daniel (DJ) McCann.

A Memorial Service for the family will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, at 11 am on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
