Marie-Therese Noelle D'Antier Isidore, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, surrounded by her three loving daughters. On December 25, 1926, in Port-Louis Ile Maurice, Mauritius, Marie-Therese was born to the late Norcestre De Fribourg and Hosannah De Fribourg.


A woman of faith, Marie-Therese found solace in her relationship with God and was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville for over three decades. Even in her later years, her dedication to her faith remained unwavering, from the comfort of her own home.


Having retired as an Assistant Manager in Commercial Travel with Air France, Marie-Therese's career took her across the globe, providing her with unique experiences and opportunities to embrace diverse cultures. Relocating to Greenville to be closer to her daughter Maureen, she found joy in spending time with her family and delighting in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Marie-Therese, a devoted mother shared her talents and passion for creativity with her family. An accomplished seamstress, she crafted elegant garments with precision and care, leaving a legacy of beautifully crafted memories for her loved ones.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Marie-Claude Dudonney and her husband Jacques Dudonney, Genevieve Isidore and her husband, Frederick Wharton, Maureen Lukovic and her husband, Velisav Lukovic; grandchildren, Bernadette, Natalia, Tatiana, Liza, Brett, Jennifer, Dejan, Dominique, Andre; great-grandchildren, Melody, Cedric, Hailey, Nicole, Alexandre, Ethan and Sophia; great great-grandchildren, Emyla, Tristan and Taleia; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.


Marie-Therese was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Edwin Isidore and her much loved son, Leslie-Michel "Michael" Isidore.


In honor of Marie-Therese's life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.


Marie-Therese's legacy of love, creativity, and faith will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, her spirit forever shining brightly in the hearts of those she touched.
