He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Judy Chapman Pence; daughters, Jennifer (Delbert) Fisher, Shannon Pauley, Brooke Pauley Lord; grandchildren, Hazel “Christa” Fisher, Greyson Lord, Prescott Lord, and Chapman Lord; sister, Ramona (Carl) Rogers; brothers, Marvin (Sue) Pence and Wayne (Karen) Pence; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend thanks to the staff at the CAMC Cancer Center, CAMC Memorial Hospital, Dunbar Medical Associates and HospiceCare for their kindness and care of Chuck during his illness.
