Annie Ellen Parson age 85 of Silver Creek Drive of Berea, passed away Thursday July 22, 2010 at St. Joseph Berea.


She was born in Rockcastle County to the late Thomas Edward and Stella Frances Dees. She was a member of the Narrow Way Church of God.


In addition to her parents Annie was also preceded in death by her first husband William Parson, one son Clyde William Parson, one daughter Sylvia Frances Parson, one sister Ida Mae VanWinkle, two brothers James Lee Dees and Steve Dees, and one grandchild.


She is survived by her husband Wayne Pearson, her children Annie Sharon Johnson, Melvin Edward (Joyce) Parson, Elva Drewsella (Dearl) Rose, Linda Lou VanHorn, Velma Sue (Oscar) Jones, Debbie Lee (Steve) Henson, Sandra Kay (Steve) Causey and Tammy Jo (Walter) Tedrick, 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Nora Poynter, Myrtle Rudie, Sue Bowman, Lillian Allen, Mary Bowman and Donald Dees.


Funeral services will be 1 pm Sunday July 25, 2010 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. John Gross officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.


Active and Honorary pallbearers will be Jayson Emanuel Arnold, Richard Allen Arnold Jr., Larry Jones, Doug Pigg, Chad Chamberlain, Joseph Alexander, Brian Johnson and Gary Brenton VanHorn.
