James "Jim" Anthony Boltz Jr. Obituary

James “Jim” Anthony Boltz Jr. 71 of Middle Inlet passed away on June 6, 2024. He was born to the late James Sr. and Dorothy Boltz on December 24, 1951. He graduated from Kelly High School 1970.

James joined the Navy in 1971 and was an Operational Specialist while serving for 4 years in Vietnam.

He worked for Cook County Sheriff’s Department as a Correctional Officer for 11 years, until moving up to Crivitz. He owned and operated Rustic Road Inn and worked at Waupaca Foundry for over 20 years until retiring. James also owned and operated Midway Pub. James was a Code Enforcement Officer for the Town of Middle Inlet for many years.

He is survived by his 2 children, son Jim Boltz III and daughter Sarah Boltz. Sisters Sandy (Dave) Snowden, Jacqueline Decker, brother Mitchell (Brandonne) Boltz.

He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Boltz and sisters JoAnne Morosovillo, Patricia Szafranski and his special friend Debra Brockman.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Tuesday June 18th from 9-11AM. The service will be at 11AM with Rev Nick Johannes officiating. James will be laid to rest at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Middle Inlet with Military Rites to follow.
