Joseph "Joe" Wilfred Marcel Pierre Petrin Obituary

Joseph (Joe) Petrin, of Yellowhead County, passed away June 7th, 2024, at the age of 67.

He was born on Oct. 2, 1956, in Montreal, QC, to parents Marcel Petrin & Stella Seamans.

Joe moved to St. George, NB at a young age. He worked in the shipyards until in his late 20's when he moved to Edson, AB. Joe worked at Rocky Mountain Typewriter, where he met his wife, Lynn.

Joe & Lynn married Nov. 28th, 1987, and had one child named Ryan. Joe owned and operated Joe's New and Used, a local shop in Edson for 15+ years. His kindness and loving personality quickly led to him becoming a well known and loved member of the community.

His passion for buying and selling eventually led him into the auction business and then to becoming an auctioneer.

Joe is survived by his wife Lynn, son Ryan, mother-In-law Margot Field, brother-in-law Chuck Field and numerous relatives.

The family is having a private service. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
