Linda D. Fairlie, 70, of Owego, NY, passed away on June 8, 2024. She was born on December 8, 1953 to the late Jack and Lillian (Hines) Edwards. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Chet Moesch; She is survived by her son Wade (Kathrin) Fairlie, Virginia Beach and her first grandchild, Declan Elias Fairlie; her former husband, Glenn Fairlie. her siblings, Lloyd (Peg) Edwards, Cynthia (Mitch) Nichols, Bonnie (Bill) Moesch, Lucinda Moesch, Lucille (Fred) Bensley, Connie (Bill) Myers, Jack (Jo-Ann)Edwards; several nieces and nephews. Linda was a member of the Owego Moose and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with Wade. She was known for her cooking and baking goodies for her family and friends. She was always up for a good game of pitch and was willing to help anyone with anything they needed.

Funeral Services will be held at Richards Funeral Home, 3670 Waverly Rd, Owego, NY on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 1:00pm with Rev. Bill Prentice, officiating. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 11:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Gibson Corners Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to St. Jude.org
