David T. Brodie Obituary

David T. Brodie, 67, of Steelton, PA, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 7, 2024 at his house, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 16, 1956 in Harrisburg, PA and was the son of the late Joan Brodie.


David retired from UPS as a package delivery driver. He loved flowers, bowling, watching the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers, watching movies, and attending the W. Shore Market on Saturdays. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, volunteering his time as a youth bowling coach, and watching his grandson compete as a bowler as well. As an animal lover, he will leave behind three four-legged companions, Max, Milo, and Otis.

In addition to his mother, David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean Brodie and a son Jeremy Brodie.

He is survived by his loving children, Zacharia S. Brodie and his wife Caitlin, Nicholas D. Brodie, and Jessica A. Zeiters and her husband Billy; five grandchildren, Carter Zeiters, Rya Brodie, Camille Brodie, Zane Brodie and Alexander Zeiters.

There will be a viewing from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown. Services will be at 1:30 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will immediately follow the services, in the Middletown Cemetery.
