Ann Prosseda, 78, formerly of Bloomsburg passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family following a brave and courageous fight with Parkinson’s disease.


Ann was born on February 19, 1946, in Harwich, England, the daughter of the late Elwood E. and Irene Peggy Wolfe of Milton. She was married to the late James T. Prosseda with whom she shared 46 years of marriage prior to his death June 18, 2013.


Ann grew up in Milton and was a 1966 graduate of Milton High School. After raising her children, Ann worked in various retail positions at the Columbia Mall and assisted Jim in their business A&J Painting following his retirement.


Ann was an avid baker, had a knack for decorating, especially on the holidays, enjoyed crafts and was a bargain shopper. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Ann will be deeply missed by her family and many other friends and relatives.


She is survived by five children, Anthony Prosseda and his wife Agnes, Angela (Prosseda)

Mansfield and her husband Steve, Amelia (Prosseda) Kocher and her husband Layne, Alexis

Prosseda, and Amanda (Prosseda) Grozier and her husband Will; and five grandchildren, Katlyn,

Larson, Luca, Giovanni, and Rachel, and a brother Derek E. Wolfe and his wife Cindy of Milton.


Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. Front St. Milton. Private burial will be in Elan Memorial Park.
