Otten, Sharon Jean (Nee Maxey), passed away Sunday, June 9th, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of 57 years to Richard Otten. Loving mother of the late Christian Samuel Otten, Christopher (Karen) Otten, and Michelle (Rob) Wright Cherished grandmother of Heather (Daniel) Bruce, Jason Wright, Justin Wright, Matthew Otten and Kristen Otten. Great Grandmother of Carter Bruce and Anderson Brooks Bruce. Dear sister of the late Darrell Maxey. Beloved daughter of the late Esther and Elmer Behrmann. Sharon was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.


Sharon was an avid Nascar fan and loved a good romance novel. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She took great pride in being a wife and mother, and loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Sharon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the joy to know her.


A Visitation for Sharon will be held at Hutchens Mortuary (675 Graham Rd, Florissant, MO 63031) on Monday June 17th from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm. A Service will also be held at Hutchens Mortuary on Tuesday, June 18th at 9:00 am, with burial to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:45 am.
