Trey Atwood Obituary

Trey Atwood, 33 years of age, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 8, 2024, in Crestview, Florida. Trey was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, and friend.

Known for his sarcasm and great sense of humor, Trey was always a joy to hold a conversation with. He has had a passion for gaming since childhood and it will be fondly remembered as a pastime he enjoyed. Through his extensive online community of fellow gamers and friends, he met the love of his life and built a beautiful family with her and her child, whom he considered his daughter. Living in Florida, he loved spending days with his family on the beach. He also enjoyed quality time, playing board games, watching TV with his family, and snuggling with his family pets.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Starniliya Coleman; daughter, Verdandie Uecker; mother, Wendy McCauley; stepfather, Kerry McCauley; father, Willie Atwood; brother, Alex McCauley; sister, Courtney Atwood Brocato; brother-in-law, Sal Brocato; niece, Maddie Brocato; nephew, Sonny Brocato; grandmothers, Juanita Atwood and Wanda Duncan, and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tommie Duncan Sr. and Stanley Atwood.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Saturday from 9:00 a.m., until the time of service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville, with Brother Steve Speer officiating.

Trey’s bright spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
