Ernest “Ernie” Schultz, 62, of Holts Summit passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024. He was born May 10, 1962 in Freemont, Nebraska, son of the late Ernest (Sr.) and Edna (Thomas) Schultz.


Ernie worked for Command Webb for ten years and R. R. Donelly for another nine years. In his free time he enjoyed racing, hunting, fishing, playing video games, watching scary movies, eating ice cream, and eating ribeye steaks. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.


He is survived by his loving wife Debra; son, Michael Fisher; daughter-in-law, Julisa Fisher; sisters-in-law, Linda Pace and Tressie Roberson; nephews, Nehemiah, Jammari, and Keygan Roberson; grandchildren, Rylee and Randall Fisher; as well as his very special friends, Dorothy Werdehausen, Kim Wells, the Kinters, and the Smarts. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister


In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Association.


Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Slater-Millard in Holts Summit. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:30 p.m. officiated by Pastor Nolan Wynn.
