Lucille A. Zimmerman, 88, of Conneaut, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at The Villa at the Lake. She was born March 12, 1936 in Conneaut, the daughter of Earl and Winifred (Hill) Sanford.

Lucille worked for Conneaut Area Schools as secretary and was a member of New Leaf United Methodist Church and the Conneaut Boat Club. She enjoyed reading, volunteering at the Hospital Thrift Store, wintering in Frostproof, FL, and traveling to Hawaii with her loving husband of 59 years Marlyn, which they did five times.

Her love was devoted to her family, especially her grandsons and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Susan (James) Stevenson of Euclid, grandson Michael (Jennifer) Dell, Jr., of Richmond Heights, and Jeffrey (Jara) Dell of Westlake; and great-grandchildren Nate, Coby, and Katie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marlyn Zimmerman; daughter Beverly Jean Zimmerman, great-grandson Max; nephew Joseph Zimmerman; and her sister Julia Richardson.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Pastor Joyce Shellhammer officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
