Bobby Orten Allbritton Obituary

Robert O. "Bob" Allbritton, age 95, formerly of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday June 8th. Born February 7, 1929, he was a lifelong Christian. Early in his career, he worked several years at Craighead Laundry, Standard Laundry, then was the last employee to retire as a pipe fitter foreman from Reynolds Metals at Jones Mill.


Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Warrene Sorrells Allbritton; sister, Virginia Allbritton; brother, Bill Allbritton; and parents, Robert L. and Virginia Terry Allbritton.


Left to treasure his memory are his two daughters, Elaine Hall (Wade) of Hot Springs and Donna Greis (Ted) of Joplin, Missouri; granddaughters, Robyn Ryan (Davis) of Humboldt, Tennessee, Shannon Beerly (Scott) of Joplin, Missouri, Shauna Skipper (Ronny) of Hot Springs; six great-grandchildren, Sarah-Kate, Bradon, Evie Grace, Kesley, Hank and Harper; sister-in-law, Daisy Allbritton McHenry; a nephew, three nieces, and for thirteen years, beloved companion, Willia Honold.


Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12th at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, Section Line Road, Hot Springs. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11th.


Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.


Pallbearers are Michael Allbritton, Scott Beerly, Ted Greis, Wade Hall, Davis Ryan, and Ronny Skipper.


Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Shawn Purifoy, Kathy Jones RN, and the RNs and staff of CHI and Arkansas Hospice.
