William "Arthur" Dunn Obituary

William "Arthur" Dunn, age 71, of Rogersville, TN went home to be with his Heavenly Father on June 7, 2024 after a valiant battle with a lengthy illness. He was born in Superior, West Virginia to William and Beatrice Dunn. Arthur was a loving husband, father, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. He knew no strangers and always made others comfortable. His honest conversation very often led to sharing what God had done in his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Dunn; mother, Beatrice Dunn; sisters, Lougenia "Jean" Ross, Queen "Pearl" Brown, Cheryl Dunn, Peggy Ann Johnson; brothers, Freddie Mack "Pap" Dunn, and Steven Dunn.

He is survived by his wife Debbie; his sons, Behm (Tiffany), N'Kobi (Sara), Rashid (Jennifer), and Hayden; daughters, Taylor and Sayde; step-children, Jenny, Annie, and Jordan; sister, Nancy Senior; several grandchildren including a precious child named Carter who called him grandaddy and loved him big; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a very special thank you to these groups of people: Amedisys Home Health, VA Home Health, and Amedisys Hospice. These incredible men and women have cared for him for the last two and a half years and allowed his family and friends to spend precious time with him at home. We will be forever grateful for the Amedisys Hospice angels who helped him have comfort in his final days. They were a blessing to our family during this time.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com
