Passed away surrounded by family on June 8, 2024 just before his 82nd birthday at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. He fought bravely having AM Leukemia.


He will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Renate and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alan Warren (son) wife Barb and family Scott Warren (son) fiancé Dana and family Susan Gryspeerdt (daughter) husband John and family Scott Shultz (step son) wife Mary and family Kathy Shultz (step daughter) and family. Survived by his brother Doug and wife Diane and sister in-law Rosemarie Coughtrey and family. Paul worked in various management positions. The latest before retirement being at human resources in The City of Kingston.


He loved sports especially Tennis, Downhill and Cross Country Skiing. His favourite passion was fishing and hunting yearly right to the end of his life.


His family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors of Kidd 9, ICU and Burr Cancer Wing. Friends and family are invited to his wake from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel on Friday, June 14, 2024. His Christian funeral service will take place at Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel, 980 Collins Bay Road. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10 am. Reception will follow service and interment will take place at Lillies Baptist Cemetery. If you desire, donations in memory of Paul can be made to the Cancer Society. Paul will be remembered as a very religious, kind, honest, smart, meticulous human being.
