February 9, 1952 – June 7, 2024

Bruce Cutler Stover, 72, passed away June 7, 2024, at his home in Lexington, South Carolina.

A visitation is scheduled from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Barr-Price Funeral Home in Lexington, SC. Following the visitation, the family will have a private service and burial at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

He was born February 9, 1952, in York, Maine to George and Shirley Stover, with one younger sister. He was a special son and always enjoyed time with family and friends. He loved to attend worship with his family at Airport Church of Christ. One of his favorite hymns to sing was, “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder.” He was very proud of his special flashlight and collection of Eeyores. In 2012, he moved to South Carolina with his dad and mom to be close to his sister and brother-in-law.

Bruce is survived by his sister, Carolyn Collier (John) of Lexington, South Carolina; his nephew, Nathan Collier (Holly) of Ellijay, Georgia; and niece, Tiffany Sanders (John) of Springfield, Missouri; great nieces and nephews,  Macy and Quinn Collier of Ellijay, Georgia, and Ellie, Audrianna, and Owen Sanders of Springfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Stover in 2014, and his mother, Shirley Stover, in 2018.
