Mary Louise Cleary Obituary

Cleary, Mary Louise (Molly)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary (Molly) Louise Cleary on Friday, June 7, 2024, in her 84th year. Much loved wife of the late Paul Cleary for 53 years. Cherished mother of James (Jill) and Michael (Kristina). Proud grandmother to Leyton, Danika and Emery. Survived by her sisters Cathy (Martin 09) and Sally (Ron). Molly fought a long and courageous battle and was an inspiration to so many with her uplifting spirit and enduring positive outlook. Molly made many treasured friendships through her many years working in the travel industry and within the community with her very caring neighbours and, more recently, the strong connections she made at the Aurora Seniors Centre. We will all miss her dearly and will remember her always for her commitment to her family along with her strength, hope and resilience that will forever inspire those who knew her. We would like to thank the medical staff at the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Hospital, in particular, Dr. Lebner and Dr. Rana, along with the wonderful staff at Margaret Bahen Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.

A Celebration of Molly's Life will take place at Summit Golf Club, 11901 Yonge Street, on Sunday, June 23rd from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Margaret Bahen Hospice.
