Ruth left this earth in true Ruth fashion, she left to celebrate her 97th birthday with our Lord and Savior. Ruth loved Jesus and everyone she talked to felt loved by her.

Ruth always encouraged those around her to be the best version of themselves. Her encouragement always seemed to end with a laugh or a smile.

The Blanton family is eternally grateful for the devotion and love shown to Ruth over the years and especially the past year. Ruth’s daughter-in-law, Cheryl Woodburn, and Ruth’s granddaughter, Tara Gales, were always devoted to her and loved her deeply. We cannot thank them enough.

Ruth S. Woodburn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her spirit of generosity and love will continue to inspire those who knew her. She was a loyal and steadfast believer of our Lord and Savior. She will be deeply missed.
