Robin Lynne Puffinburger, 58, of Fort Ashby, WV, died Saturday, June 8, 2024, at home.


Born June 19, 1965 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Edward Smith and Inez (Sirna) Myers and husband Patrick Myers.


Robin earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Frostburg State University.  She did additional graduate work to be a reading specialist.


Robin had been employed by the Hampshire County Board of Education, having taught at Augusta, John Cornwell, Springfield, and Slanesville elementary schools.


She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren.


Survivors include her husband of almost 40 years, Terry; daughters, Sarah Wilcox and husband Andrew, and Laura Fadeley and husband Travis; grandchildren, Alizah Fadeley, Alauria Wilcox, and Lucas Fadeley; siblings, Pamela Preaseau and husband Dave, and Jason Smith and wife Stephanie; and many loving extended family and special friends.


Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Ashby, on Tuesday, June 11th. from 5-9 PM.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12th. at 1:00 PM in the funeral home, with Pastor Wes Beahm, officiating.


Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
