Anna Mae (Back) Arnold, 71-year-old rural Vinita resident passed away early Saturday, June 8, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 18, 1952, in Kellogg, Idaho to David and Barbara (Rhodes) Back. Anna was united in marriage to Gary Wayne Arnold on July 24, 1969, in Neosho, Missouri. She had worked in the Lithium Room at Eagle Picher Technologies, and for Sunbeam for a time. Anna enjoyed doing crafts, painting, going fishing, sewing, and watching her Netflix series “Coach.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Buck Back, Billy Joe Back, Ralph Back, Winford Back, Wilma (Back) Kinslow, and Patti Stafford.

The family includes her husband Gary of the home, her children, Janean Deaton, Dustin Arnold (Jessica Oakley), Christopher Arnold (Alyssa Smith), Jessica Arnold, two sisters, Charlotte Jenkins, Sue Seymour, grandchildren, Alesha Horton (Ty), Dustin Deaton (Kassandra), Katlin Barnard (Joey), Haily Arment (Aaron), Sidney Arnold (Kenny Palmer), Bradley Arnold, Bonnie Arnold, Maliki Armstrong, Matteo Armstrong, Gavin Oakley, Gabe Oakley, and Joseph Back.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita.

The celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita, with Chaplain Geoff Buffalo officiating.
