Linda Sue Leyba Obituary

In loving memory of Linda Sue Leyba, born on February 7, 1945, in Bloomington, Indiana, and peacefully passed away on June 8, 2024. Linda was the devoted wife of Jack Leyba Jr. for 27 years, and the beloved mother of Harold Jr. (Jeremy) Keuzter, Angie (Marty) Boelt, Bill Keuzter, Kim (Mark) Kowal, and Jack A. (Yolanda) Leyba.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her 10 grandchildren: Clint, Carrie, MacKenzie, Casey, DJ, Brandon, Daisy, Emma, Krysta, and Matthew. They were the joy of her life. Linda was also blessed with 6 great-grandchildren: Savannah, Parker, Ozzy, Wesley, Lainey, and Hayes, who brought her immense happiness.

While Linda also dedicated herself to her career, including roles at JC Penny’s and Krazy Kaplans Fireworks, her greatest fulfillment came from the love and bonds shared with her family.

Family gatherings were a cornerstone of Linda's life, especially during Christmas, her favorite time of year. Nothing brought her more joy than seeing her loved ones gathered together, sharing laughter and creating cherished memories.

Linda's culinary talents were legendary, with her world-famous chicken and noodles becoming a staple at holiday gatherings. The aroma of her delicious dishes filled the air, creating an atmosphere of warmth and love that will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have experienced it.

Her gentle spirit and unwavering love infused every aspect of her life, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who knew her. Linda's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to inspire and uplift generations to come.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Maudie Holler, and her brothers William and Albert Holler. Linda's kindness and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
