Lillian Goude Hucks, 81 passed away on June 8, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family.


She was born on April 28, 1943, in Conway, SC, the daughter of the late Buey Gilbert Goude and Dell Howell Goude.


She was a retired nurse who loved and inspired those who were lucky enough to have been touched by her life.


Lillian is survived by her children, Carlette “Prissy” Stewart (Jamey), and Tony Hucks, both of Georgetown, SC, and a step-son Bobby Hucks (Robin) of Kents Store, Virginia, two grandchildren; Taylor Denise Hucks and Eleanor Grace Hucks, one sister; Connie Jordan (Kenny) and multiple nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her most beloved loyal and very protective canine “Sadie”.


In Addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Munick Carson “Carl” Hucks, two sisters; Elease West and Sallie Goude Avant, two step sons; Dennis Hucks and Jerry Hucks.


Lillian's life was a reflection of her unwavering faith and strength. She loved her family beyond words she could explain. She had an exceptional green thumb and loved her flowers and plants. She enjoyed watching birds, especially the hummingbirds.


Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Pastor Rickey West and Pastor Chris Giles will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church cemetery.


Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Georgetown Chapel.
