Virginia Ann Caudill Obituary

Virginia Ann Caudill, 93, of Republic, MO, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 07, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones, thanks to Preferred Hospice.


Virginia was born to John Aronis and Mamie (Aronis) Foster on February 24, 1931, in Springfield, MO. Virginia and her three older brothers attended Fair Grove Schools where she graduated in 1949. Virginia had three sons and one daughter whom she loved dearly. Virginia enjoyed babysitting, sewing and crocheting. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She never misses a game whether on the radio or the television. She also loved her dog, Emmy.


Virginia is preceded in death by her parents John Aronis and Maime Foster her brothers, Theodore Aronis, Pete Aronis and William Aronis, and her sons James Caudill and Jerald Caudill.


She is survived by her daughter, Jaretta (Charlie) Holt, eight grandchildren, Nate (Kara) Murphy of Grand Rapids, MI, Christopher Holt of Claremore, OK, Marvin (Bobby Joe) Holt of Bloomfield, IN, Harvey (Debbie) Holt of Worthington, IN, Jeramy Caudill of Kansas City, MO, Christy (Billy) Jenkins of Navarro Beach, FL, Shannon (Megan) Caudill of Springfield, MO, and Kimberly (Bill) Bottum of Topeka, KS, eight great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family and countless friends.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 9-10 am at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. Funeral services will follow at 10. Virginia will be laid to rest beside her son in Evergreen Cemetery.
