Ruth Ann Notarus Obituary

Ruth Ann Notarus, Age 83 passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Lake Forest, California. She was born on February 19, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois to her late parents Frank and Eleanor Miklos. Ruth is now at rest and joined once again with her beloved, much missed and loved daughter Michele Lynn Notarus, after almost a 40 year wait. Beloved and dedicated wife of Michael Irwin Notarus for over 60 years, always over loving mother of Scott Allen Notarus. Cherished and loving grandmother of Kyle Fox Notarus.

The words "spirited," "passionate”, "thoughtful", “loving” and “friendship” barely scratch the surface of describing Ruth. Her presence was felt when she entered a room, when you heard her voice or felt her embrace, and it always remained long after she left. Her spirit, belief and faith in God was an embrace to all who knew her.

Her compassion as a friend warmed all that she knew. Her thoughtfulness, a gentle reminder in paying attention to the “little and very detailed” things in telling a story or sharing and experience is something she possessed as only one of her strong points. Her passion, understanding, guidance and love as a wife, mother and grandmother will always remain with her Mike, Scott, and Kyle.

Ruth will always be alive within the hearts and memories of all she knew, everyone she touched and those whom she spent hours upon hours on the phone with. She was the “rock” that everyone could count on and will be greatly missed. Ruth truly knows you and all that she was (and still is….) to you. Although Ruth's earthbound journey has suddenly come to a close, her laughter, friendship, love and compassion with those she held dear, will last forever. We will miss you.
