Age 92, of Amherst, NY. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Fred A. Stewart; loving mother of Frederick (Victoria) Stewart and Amy (Larry) Snider; cherished grandmother of Nicole Stackhouse, Bradley (Nicole) Stewart and David Snider; dear sister of Eileen (Laurence, PhD) Franz and the late Leonard (late Elaine) Vanderburgh; She was loved by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and God children. She had a special bond with her nephew Marcus, that she celebrated their birthdays together for years. She had such a fun spirit about her, that when her grandson David was young and loved cars, they used to run around the parking lot pointing to all of the Ford cars. Mary worked at Jenss Department Store. She was only going to work there to earn extra money for Christmas, but then it turned into a 25 year jobs that she loved. She contributed her longevity to swimming, walking and being an avid reader. Arrangements by the AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from St. Pius X Church, 1700 North French Road, Getzville at 10 AM. Interment will be in Western New York National Cemetery.
