Fun loving, adventure seeking, hardest working, gourmet food discerning, alternative music appreciating, wonderful-scented candle procuring, logically minded, mathematically and technologically gifted, vigorously devoted student at school and life; creative and fair-minded thinking, justice-seeking volunteer, Christian soldier, and perpetual care-giving friend; an exemplary role model and willing leader, ethicist, humorist, and a constant source of wide-eyed ambition, energy and goodness… an abundantly caring, thoughtful, loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to all… passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Monday June 3, 2024.


Left to cherish Christopher’s memory is his mother, Allison Johnson; father Marshall Ward; brother Douglas Ward; Stepfather David Johnson; Stepmother Jennifer Lott; Uncles Brian Thomson, Zachary Ward and Tyler Ward; Aunt Rachel Ward; Grandmother Mary Jean Thomson and Grandfather Lawrence Ward as well as so many others in his extended family and friends.


A visitation celebrating Christopher’s life will take place on Friday, June 14 2024, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A funeral will be held the following day, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Christopher’s name to The Chapel Pantry of Eastern Shore Chapel – a food pantry where he volunteered.
