Angela Maria May-Watts Obituary

Angela Maria May-Watts, age 55, of Lexington, KY was born May 13, 1969. Angie gained her angels wings on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Angie leaves behind her loving husband, Jeff Watts, son Tyler May (Courtney), who was her pride and joy and her devoted sister, Carla Starr (Tony). Angie also had two nephews and two living Aunts. She is also leaving behind her lifelong best friend, Valerie Jones Adams, as well as many other treasured friends and family. She was preceded in death by her wonderful parent’s, Gertrude and Okie Lionel May.

Angie graduated from Henry Clay High School in 1987. She attended Southland Christian Church and recently retired from Bluegrass Hospitality Group Corporate Offices, where she adored her employers and colleagues. Angie loved life and had a smile that would brighten the room. She was the life of the party and made everyone feel special. Angie loved bling and all things pink and left a little of her pink sparkle everywhere she went. Her laugh was contagious and to know her was to truly love her. She never met a stranger and after a brief meeting, they were fast friends. Laughing, spending time with family and friends and enjoying a good meal, were a few of her favorite things.
