Albert M. Larimore, Sr. Obituary

     Albert M. Larimore, Sr. passed away June 5, 2024 at home surrounded by his family at the age of 94.  He was born in Petersburg, Delaware on January 13, 1930 to James and Eliza Larimore.

     He was a milkman in his early years and went on to become a truck driver for General Foods, retiring after many years.  He was a founding father and lifetime member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge.  He loved to dance and have a good party!

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son James Larimore and seven siblings.

     He is survived by one sister Catherine Degnats; his children: Albert Larimore, Jr. (Sarah), Doris Adkins (Bill), Gloria Raymond (Patrick), Brenda Pleasanton (Chet), Rick Larimore (Shelley), Cathy Dimaio (Billy); his companion Pamela Thompson and his dog and best buddy Blue. In addition, he was blessed with 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. 

     The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the wonderful caregivers: Kathy, Jessica, Shannon (nurses); Dawn and Cathy (special caregivers); Katrina, Andrea, Denise, Tina (aides) and a very special thank you to his caregiver and special friend Sherri.

     A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE  19934 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday.  Burial will follow in Mt.
