Vickie Prejeant Obituary

Vickie H. Prejeant, 67, a native of Napoleonville, Louisiana and resident of Labadieville, Louisiana gained her angel wings surrounded by family and went home with Jesus on June 6, 2024.


A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Labadieville, Louisiana from 12:00 pm until the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm. The burial will follow in St. Philomena Cemetery, Labadieville, Louisiana.


She is survived by her husband, Harris Prejeant; sons, Jody Prejeant and James Prejeant; brother, David Hebert (Donna); sisters, JoAnn Hebert Falcon, Renell Hebert Gauthreaux (Darryl); grandchild, Desmond Prejeant; great-grandchildren, Layla Prejeant, Addison Prejeant, Lyric Prejeant, Alora Ray and multiple nieces, nephews, and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Joyce Hebert; in-laws, Jessie and Linda Prejeant; brother-in-law, Terry "Satch" Falcon; grandparents, George and Inez Landry and Arthur and Gertrude Hebert.


Pallbearers will be Jody Prejeant, James Prejeant, Desmond Prejeant, Eric Falcon, Dusty Falcon, Tommy Blanchard, Bobby Hebert, and Derek Arboneaux.


She loved family, friends, cooking, planting flowers, and making her famous pralines. She had a deep love and devotion to her Savior Jesus Christ. She was also known to all for her giving spirit and compassion.


Thanks to Thibodaux Regional Critical Care nurses, along with Loretta Landry and Gabby Wurzlow for all their direction, comfort, and compassion. Also, to doctors Scott Hebert, Vander, Parker, Monisette, Monier, C.I.S., and doctors with Family Doctor Clinic.
