John William Driscoll Obituary

John William Driscoll, 74, of Big Bear Lake community / Bruceton Mills, passed away Friday June 7th, 2024 at his home following an extended illness.


John was born on February 20, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Thomas and Anna Jones Driscoll.


John is survived by his wife Joann Devanko whom he married in April 17th, 2014; two children, Jaime Driscoll and wife Janet of Baltimore, MD, and Michael Driscoll of Columbia, MD; a brother Thomas Driscoll and wife Linda of Fallston, MD; a sister Joann Driscoll of Sparrows Point, MD; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his cherished feline buddies Neko and Hachi. John and Joann also had another cat Yoshi, who left them a year and a half ago, and who was waiting on him at the end of the rainbow bridge.


John was a loving family man and a jolly Irishman.


John's request for cremation is being honored by his family. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
