Graveside services for Emma Joyce Stephens, 84 of Haynesville, LA will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2024 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Rob Burns officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Haynesville, LA

Emma was born May 9, 1940 in FT. Necessity, LA and passed away Thursday, June 06, 2024 at Heritage Nursing Center in Haynesville, LA

She was a retired nurse and was a former resident of Linden, TX.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Elizabeth Broadway of Farmerville, LA, one son, Mitchell Ray McCarty of Haynesville, LA, four grandchildren, Cassie Stoker, Rachel Gunselman, Cody McCarty, and Jeffrey Pointer, six great grandchildren, one sister, Louis Hitt of Winnsboro, LA

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ode Stephens and Alice Burns Stephens, daughter, Betty Lorraine McCarty, grandson, Josh Hofstad, three sisters, and four brothers.
