Carrie Ann Butenhoff, 56 of Weston, died on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.

Carrie was born on August 27, 1967, in Wausau, the daughter of Larry and Shirley Marten.

Carrie was formerly employed at 2510 Restaurant, the Dollar Store and also did child care for many years. Carrie loved music, socializing, coloring and watching classic cartoons. Her favorite pastime was singing.

Carrie is survived by her mother, Shirley; daughter, Ember Butenhoff; grandchildren, Hope, Nova and Sage; brother, Chad; niece, Addison; special friend, Todd Schuster and numerous friends and family.

Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Larry and former husband, Clint Butenhoff.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, June 10, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church, 164923 County Road Z, Wausau. Rev. John Stransky will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9AM until the time of service at the church.
