Lawrence "Larry" St. Pierre, 65, of Peabody passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024. Born in Salem, MA, the son of Margery (Duffy) St. Pierre and Lawrence St. Pierre, Larry
was a lifelong resident of Peabody. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp and the National Guard before starting his business, Metro Kitchen Service Inc. He was an avid drummer and played in many bands throughout his life. Larry loved to spend time with his two beloved dogs Colby and Major. He enjoyed playing golf, and even got a hole in one for the first time in 2022. Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and dear friend to many. He was kind to everyone he met, would strike up a conversation with anyone, and made friends wherever he went. Larry was a fantastic storyteller, and a true prankster who loved a good joke and had a one-of-a-kind laugh. His positive outlook was infectious and his charming and playful nature made every day with him fun. To Larry, there was no problem he couldn't solve and no oven he couldn't fix. His strength, perseverance, and ability to always see the bright side of
things was an inspiration. Larry will be terribly missed by those who had the good fortune of knowing him. Larry leaves behind his loving wife Dawnmarie St. Pierre, his daughters Stacey St.
Pierre and Stephanie St. Pierre and husband Justin Anderson, his stepson Scott Bailey, and his two grandchildren Natalie and Noah Anderson. He also leaves behind his sisters Susan St. Pierre and husband Richie Thibodeau, and Linda St. Pierre, brother David St. Pierre and wife Christa, and brother-in-law Brian McCarthy, his nieces and nephews Rachel St. Pierre and partner Mike McGivern, Ross Phillips, Erin St. Pierre and partner Anthony Cantone Heinze, Erik McCarthy and fiancé Vania Aguilar, Matthew McCarthy and wife Deanna and daughter Maeve, Andrew McCarthy, Parker and Sawyer St. Pierre and the mother of his children, Deborah Massa. He was predeceased by his siblings Sharon St. Pierre, Billy St. Pierre, Janice McCarthy, and brother-in-law Richie Lindgren, husband of Sharon. A private service for family will be held at the Puritan Lawn in Peabody MA. Larry loved a good party, and a Celebration of Life will be held on
Saturday, July 6, 2024 between 1:00 - 5:00 PM at Toscana Forno, 139 Lynnfield Street, Peabody, to which family and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry's name to Care Dimensions (hospice) at giving.caredimensions.org.
