Mom was born as Ruth Ann Mays to Ivan and Reva Mays on March 15th, 1952, at St. Mary’s Hospital she had two brothers, Tom and David who have preceded her in death with her parents, she is survived by her sister Sue Mays. She was a mother to Jay Grant (Jackie), Ben Noble and Caleb Noble (Amanda), and a grandmother to seven grandkids, Josh, Cierra, Kyle, Caden, Logan, Mason and Arai, and two great grandchildren, Jenna and Cayleigh. Ruth was a lifelong Nurse for 36 years specializing in care for the elderly. She enjoyed working on her house and out in her yard. She was a devout Christian and attended church at Sybene Baptist Church. On June 4th, 2024, heaven called, and Ruth answered.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024, 3:00PM at Sybene Baptist Church in South Point, OH. Visitation will take place at the church from 2PM~3PM. Burial will follow at Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery in South Point, OH. Schneider-Hall Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Sybene Baptist Church. Following her service there will be a celebration of her life held at Sybene Baptist Church.
