In Loving  Precious Memories 

Pamela Gail Pillow was born November 18, 1959 to the late James Authur Pillow, Sr and Clabie Catherine Pillow. She departed this life on May 29, 2024 peacefully at her home.

Pam was educated in the Maury County School System. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at 8th and Woodland Original Church of God in Columbia, TN.

Pam loved taking care of people, cooking and enjoying time with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her spouse, daughter, and grandchildren. She was unapologetically herself at all times and was always the life of the party. If you knew her, you knew that she loved hard. Her love had no bounds. She would give you the shirt off her back and the shoes off her feet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Mattie Mae Braden and Henry Dotson Braden; son Detrick DeWayne Pillow; aunts Hattie and Dorothy Pillow, Albretha Ennis, Bobbie Jean Buchanan and Janice Brown.

She is survived by her spouse of nearly 40 years, Steve Mitchell, Daughter Shameka Pillow; Step-Daughters Shateka Edwards and Taneka Armstrong, Grandchildren Iyarie Kontar and Montavius Whitsey; Step-Grandchildren Makiyah Edwards and Kiyanah Edwards; Great-Grandson Kamari Whitsey; Step-Grandchildren Allen Jr and Amyla; Grandmother Bessie Pillow; Sisters Joyce Pillow, Sharon Pillow, Teresa Pillow, Annette Pillow and Janet (Randall) Johnson; Brother James Authur Pillow, Jr.; Aunts Teresa Brooks, Daphne Braden, Brenda Johnson and Debbie Pillow; Uncles Larry Maxwell and Steve Armstrong; devoted friends Candy Todd and Kathy (Patton) Oden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
