Mario A. Di Fiore was born in Detroit on January 20, 1938 the son of Nicola and Cisera Di Fiore. Mario was a graduate of Denby High School. In 1967 he married Ann Richards and together they raised their daughter Maria. He studied cello at a young age with many excellent instructors culminating in a 52 year career with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra before his retirement.. His musical talent carried into the hobbies he enjoyed - cooking, the visual arts, ceramics, and gardening both flower and vegetable. He also enjoyed politics. Mario is survived by his beloved wife Ann, dear daughter Maria (Scott Quackenbush), and loving grandson Jacob. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A celebration Marios life will take place at a later date. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to the American Heart Association. Funeral Home: A. H.
