Artie Obituary

Frankfort, NY - Arthur J. “Artie” Cardillo, 67, formerly of Utica, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at the Wynn Hospital in Utica.

He was born in Utica, January 1, 1957, a son of the late Pasquale “Pat” and Florence M. (Lalonde) Cardillo. Artie graduated from T.R. Proctor High School.

Artie was involved in the auto body repair business for over fifty years. He currently, along with his brother Michael, was the co-owner and operator of Lansing Body Works in Utica. Artie loved his work and took great pride with every repair. His talent seemed natural even with the most difficult of jobs. He handled every customer with respect and the utmost professionalism. He was a kind and loving man who enjoyed the simple things in life; family and friends were always his top priority.

On April 27, 2013, Artie married the former Melody L. Volk, this union was filled with a strong love and devotion for each other.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Melody, with whom he shared a loving relationship for more than thirty-five years; a son, Richard A.
