Millard C. Carr, age 93, of Manchester, TN, passed away on May 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family under the care of Alive Hospice and special caregiver Diana Brown. He was born on December 14, 1930 in Overton County, TN.

Millard is preceded in death by his parents, Hillary and Bertha Carr; wife, Ruby Carr; 3 brothers, 4 sisters and granddaughter, Angie Smoot.

He is survived by his children, Rosey (Glenn) Smoot, Linda (Richard) Martin, and Dalton Carr and Friend, Jackie; grandchildren Clint Martin, Mike Martin, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Millard worked as a farmer and as a logger for most of his life. He was a jack of all trades and was also good with woodwork, such as constructing wooden swings. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30th, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. We will leave in procession at 2:30 for a graveside service going to Welker Cemetery in Manchester, TN.
