Ruth Marie Blake

Ruth Marie Blake, 59, of Hillsdale, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017, at the home of her friend in Cambria Twp. She was born June 9, 1957 in Jackson to Fred & Loa Jean (Armstrong) Blake, she survives in Pittsford. Ruth is also survived by her long-time fiance, Marty Osmun. Ruth was a home health aide. She was a graduate of Pittsford High School, Class of 1976. She was a former member of the Proud Equestrians and enjoyed spending time making hand crafted jewelry. Surviving besides her mother Loa Jean and fiance Marty are three children, Amy (Charles) Howe of Osseo, Stacey Blake of Hillsdale and Megan Osmun of Hillsdale; two grandchildren, Jaden Howe and Liberty LaBo; siblings, Jeannine (Matt) Dombrosky of Lambertville and Frederick Donald Blake of Pittsford. Ruth was preceded in death by her father. A celebration of the life of Ruth Blake will take place Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at the Liberty Bible Church in Pittsford with Dr. Samuel Wickard officiating. Private family interment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM, at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family of Ruth Blake.
