Suzanne “Nanny” Rutledge, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on May 21st, 2024 at Spring Meadows in Clarksville, TN after a short battle with cancer. Born 2/10/1944, An only child of Parents, Evelyn R.  Koch and Theodore A.  Knapik. She was the grand daughter of Eugene C.  Keeling and Minnie R.  Keeling.

She is preceded in death by grandson Christian Keeling Foote

She is survived by her son Kirk DeVore Kirk’s wife Elizabeth DeVore daughter, Kelly Foote and granddaughter Josie Foote and Sam Harbert (Fiancé)

She grew up on a farm in Manchester with her beloved cow named FunnyFace and her chicken Greenie and cat Smokey. She was a Southern Baptist. She loved gardening, bird watching, her beloved dog Liza, reading and loved animals, thrift shops and yard sales and could always find a good deal.

After completing high school, Karen worked 32 years at TSB as an Accounting Clerk.  She also worked part-time at the American Legion Post 88 in Donelson, TN. She was born at Camp Forrest Army Base in Tullahoma

Funeral Services will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Friday, May 24th, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Burial will conclude at Blanton Chapel Cemetery in Manchester, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to Blanton’s Chapel Cemetery in Manchester, TN.
