Richard D Cerrone Obituary

Richard Cerrone, 92, of Spring Hill, FL passed away May 18, 2024.

Richard is survived by daughters Veronica Cerrone Burson ( David Burson) and Carmela Cerrone Torres;

granddaughter Tanya Lollie Hill (Michael Hill); great-grandchildren Tristan Lollie Grant, Nicholas Lollie and Malia Lollie;

and many nephews and nieces.

Richard is predeceased by his wife Bessie Lee Cerrone, Latrecia Lollie (granddaughter), Orlando Torres (son-in-law), along with 4 sisters and 1 brother

Dad was a graduate of Danbury High School in CT and married Bessie Lee Dodd in 1952. Shortly afterwards, Dad was inducted into the Army in July. Dad's passion was music from the age of 8 and worked as a music teacher for a school of music until he opened his own Danbury School of Music. He retired from St. Mark's Village after 15 years of service

Special memories of many family vacations together, weekend rides in the country, boating and swimming.

Dad was a teacher of life. He taught us the value of family and friendships but also to respect others.

We loved his sense of humor, his love of life and music; and his love of animals and wildlife.

Blossom was the love of his life; his shadow.
