Julia Ann Aceto D’Agostino 99, of East Haven beloved wife of the late Louis M. D’Agostino passed away on May 18, 2024 surrounded by her family at the Ark Healthcare & Rehabilitation of Branford. Loving mother of Maryann (Michael G.) Venditto of Wallingford. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Albert) Lamptey and Michael L. Venditto. Great grandmother of Lucas, Delilah, Elijah and Anthony whom she loved dearly. Sister of the late Rose Russo, Philomena Ferro, Jane Pond, Nicholas and John Starino and Louis Deodosio. Julia was born in New Haven on April 17, 1925 daughter of the late Dominic and Anna Amato Aceto. Prior to her retirement Julia was a bookkeeper for Sears. She enjoyed the simpler things in life, music especially Kenny Rogers dining out and long walks. It was very important to her to contribute to various lifesaving missions including St. Jude and other organizations to find cures for children. Her generous loving spirit will be remembered.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven FRIDAY morning at 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call FRIDAY morning from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org.
